Hey Dollies !
Okay so in honor of November being Healthy Skin Awareness Month, even though its practically over, I wanted to share with you what I use to moisturize my skin for the colder months as well as the warmer months.
*I know I said my next blog post would be about hair but I'm not done with the video yet. I can't work the new iMovie yet. Sorry. Soon as I figure it out though, its all yours. Also I'm going to do a more descriptive video on these things !
Lets talk about my face and work our way down !
This is actually my new face moisturizer that I got for FREE! We all love free right ? Well our school does a target take over at the beginning of every year, and this year they were giving our all kinds of full sized goodies! I was actually reeaaalllyyyy happy about it because I needed a new face lotion. I was actually in the market for a moisturizer that would help with my hyper pigmentation spots and what not. But this gives me more time to find one that I think would really work for me. But any who back to this one.
What I like about this is that it is very light weight in a sense that it doesn't just sit on my skin. I like that even though it is light weight it actual penetrates my skins. Which is basically what I just said it the first line but in my head it sounds so correct. Basically it goes on smooth like a light weight lotion but it gives a lasting feeling like a thicker heavy lotion would. Dang that was hard to say, I'm going to get it together one of these days.
This lotion is a recent buy and I actually think I love it. Now if you know me, you know I haaattteee putting on lotion. Its mainly because my skin feels wet after I put it on. Then I have to wait for the lotion to set in before I do anything because I feel gross getting into clothes or whatever after I shower and it just takes up so much time that I never have. So during the winter my skin literally gets so dry I'm white. Like zero exaggerations my skin looks pasty white and y'all, I'm pure chocolate goodness over here. And all my ash? Yeah, that ain't it.
This lotion, in the summer is bomb dot com. Only problem I ran into was that when I did put it on, by the end of the day I was dry again like I have never even applied lotion to begin with during the colder months. So this is definitely a seasonal favorite. During the summer, y'all this is my go too lotion. It has a nice shimmer to it (every time I wore shorts and put it on I would sing shine bright like a diamond, I'm strange I already know) that isn't overbearing. It just gives it a glow like no other. I'm literally obsessed with it, during the summer at least.

Face Lotion
