Hey guys did you miss me ? Cause I missed you. Sorry life's getting a but hectic with exams and work but I still have a treat for you. Well it really was a treat for me but I thought you might enjoy it. So I took a little trip to Ulta to get one thing. If you go to Ulta you know that's physically impossible to just get one thing.

So how did you like all of your impulse buys Lai? WELL I'm glad you asked. In true AFB fashion I shall make you an organized list and describe my things !

Ulta brand eyeshadow in Brownie

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable in (pinky pinkness, just kidding idk the name to that one either lol.) Doing a full review and first impression on it though. Get excited.

Brownie

So this a matte brown eyeshadow that I use as a contour. Its been hard trying to find a contour for my skin tone that actually looks like one and not subtle. Its like they don't exist for my skin tone, or I can't seem to find it. SOOO I beat the system and used an eyeshadow. I refuse to let the world keep me down in my cheekbone dreams ! I was using another eyeshadow that came in a Tarte Amazonian Clay pallet I got from HauteLook but I didn't want to just hit pan on that shadow so I just bought one that looked like it. I guess you could say its a dupe.

Raspberry Beret 213 CR

So I have this thing where I see a lipstick and fall in love with the color and buy it take it home and its just like a color I already own. That is kind of annoying but turns out to be bit of a treat for you ! Everyone loves a good dupe. So what famous lipstick is this a dupe for ?! DRUMROLL PLEASE.. MAC's Rebel. Now to test my theory before I went out on Halloween I put Rebel on one lip and 213 on the other. They were a perfect match ! Raspberry Beret was a little creamier though (the CR in their name stands for cream). I think I'll eventually do a full comparison review for you guys. Great things are still to come.

NYX butter lip balm in Parfait

This was actually a re-buy for me. I was obsessed with the one that I had and went I ran out I HAD to get another. Here's the kicker though. The packaging was different so it was hard to spot it. Then when I finally found it I couldn't wait to get it on my lips bc it was just the perfect shade. But when I put it on it just didn't feel the same. What I liked about it was that you didn't need to put a lot on to get the moisture and a light sheen. With this one I have to apply a thicker coat to get that moisture feeling and the pink is very pink like I'm wearing lipstick. If I put a thin coat on like I would have done previously it comes out chalky, maybe I just got a bad one from the batch. I'm so disappointed I loved how it gave a sheen coating and made my lips look naturally pink. Now I'm on another hunt for that feeling. Sad Lai ):

Onyx

So on my search to find a black pencil that worked for me I stumbled across this little guy. It is very black and the staying power is pretty amazing. I like the smugger on the back that gives that great smokey effect if needed. I also like the fact that it's retractable because I hate having to worry about sharpening my pencils. A downfall is that your lines can't be as thin as they could be if you used a pencil that sharpened but its okay in my book.

Minty Deliciousness is really Mint Condition

I love love love this color ! I have literally been looking for this color for ages. I found one before and it was a Forever 21 polish and it was just terrible. *disclaimer: I do have tons of Forever polishes that I love and are amazing this just wasn't one of them* It was super thin required like 6 coats to look like the color in the bottle, and yeah just bad. But this one is still not my ideal polish but it was better than the one from Forever. It took me three coats to get the color above, which still is a little sheer for my liking. I really want it to be a two coat thick, but thin, kind of polish if that even makes any sense.

Lovesick

Don't have much to say about this just yet because I'm going to do a full review on it really soon. It'll probably be a video so get excited !!
