So guys I'm having some technical difficulties my computers memory is full and I haven't gotten a external hard drive yet. All of the videos (subscribe to my YouTube if you haven't already, link up top) are going to be on hold until I can get one. So please bare with me all I have is my phone and iPad.
So this is the look I did the day before Christmas Eve actually. I was practicing doing make up because my cousin asked me to do hers.
This look was quite simple actually. I haven't gotten comfortable with filming me doing makeup just yet. I can't see that good, ie the glasses, so it's hard for me to do my make up not super close to my face.
But here's how I got this look.
Step1:
Primed my eyes
Step2:
Applied milk jumbo pencil all over lid
Step3:
Applied lightest color in the Tarte palette to 2/3 of my lid
Step4:
Take middle shade in Tart palette and apply to crease as well as outer v
Step5:
Taking a purple shade from my 88 bh cosmetics cool palette apply that to remaining 1/3 of eye
Step6:
Taking a nude shade also from the 88 palette and the shimmer brown in the Tarte palette and blend all colors together
Step7:
Lastly take a black shadow and a thin brush and line very close to your actual lash line.
Step8:
For finishing touches on the eyes take some luster drops and place them on the center of your eye to some extra subtle sparkle.
Step9:
Finish by curling lashes and applying your favorite mascara.
Step10:
Apply magenta lip liner and bright pink lip stick. This one is from forever 21 and similar in shade to candy yum yum.
For the face:
Foundation
I applied a liquid foundation, which as you can see does sit too well on my skin. It really drawer attention and built up in my find lines on my forehead. I really hate that. But in natural light, minus my forehead, it looked great. Now with flash I was looking a little whitecasty.
Contour, blush and highlight
So I kept it really simple because my lips are sooo bright. So I just took brownie to contour, and baked blushes from Elf on the cheek.
