More Than Sad:Suicide Prevention for Parents
Please join us for More Than Sad: Suicide Prevention of Parents. The More Than Sad family of programs has taught over a million students, parents and educators how to be smart about mental health. In 2016, 6,159 suicide deaths of youth ages 10-24 occurred representing about 13.7% of all suicides in that year. During this training, parents will learn how to recognize signs of depression and other mental health problems, initiate a conversation with their child, and get him or her help.
